Before you can write dialogue or design branching logic, you’ll need to define the structure of your story. This chapter covers the foundation of every Talescape project: how stories are organized, described, and prepared for content creation.
In this chapter, you’ll learn how to:
- Create a new story and configure its title, language, dream type, and description.
- Organize chapters and scenes, and understand how navigation and starting points work.
- Adjust story settings, including metadata, content warnings, and collaborator permissions.
- Manage your media, from backgrounds and character portraits to audio and effects.
Each topic builds on the last, ensuring your project is properly structured before you begin writing.
