Bards and Dreamers
"The creators building the stories."
Bards
Bards create interactive stories in Talescape. They write scenes, shape choices, design characters, add media, test ideas and prepare stories for players. In the community, Bards can share work in progress, ask practical questions, exchange feedback and learn from other creators while a story is still taking shape.
"The players who experience them."
Dreamers
Dreamers play the stories created by Bards. They notice what works, what feels confusing and what stays with them after a scene ends. Their reactions help creators see the story from the player side and turn a private draft into something others can respond to.
Discord
Inside the Talescape Discord
- Bards can share work in progress, ask for feedback, discuss story structure, compare ideas and get help using the Talescape editor.
- Dreamers can react to stories, talk about what they enjoyed, report bugs, ask questions and help creators understand how scenes and choices feel from the player side.
- Yes. Discord members hear first when new contest themes, community events, platform updates and important announcements go live.
- The community gets behind-the-scenes updates, sneak peeks and context about Talescape directly from Aureola.
