Launcher or Steam app?

Both let you explore Talescape during the Creator Beta. The downloadable launcher is the quickest way to begin: it does not require a Steam key.

The Steam app feels a little snappier and Steam updates it automatically. The launcher loads most of its client-side logic remotely, so most changes arrive without downloading a new launcher. An occasional manual launcher update may still be needed.

If you prefer the Steam app, request a beta key below. You can try the launcher while you wait.
